This is my projects page, displaying most of the projects I've completed in the first quater of Web Design. I used Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop for most of them.
I used Adobe Fireworks to create the t-shirt design. I took an uncopyrighted graphic, made an outline of the graphic, and added my own colors from a fun fall color scheme. In Fireworks, I was able to add my own effects: a medal, the finish line, and unique text. Overall, I think I did a good job.
I used Photoshop to create this layers assignment. I took a simple image, in this case a fruit bowl, changed the color scheme to black and white, and added different layers of color using the paintbrush. To improve this project, I would probably add a little bit more color so that it contrasts better. This project taught me the basics of Photoshop and helped me become more familiar with the tools Photoshop offers.
I used Photoshop to create this hue and saturation. I took a photo, in this case a daisy, and changed the color scheme to black and white. Photoshop has a special feature allowing you to create hue and saturation projects. I really like the outcome of this project because the colors work well together and explain my personality.
I used Photoshop to create this photo clean up project. I took a tree in an autumn setting where the leaves had already fell off. I added four new layers: a bridge, basket of apples, pumpkins, and a goose flying away. I also used the clone stamp to add the leaves to the tree to make a complete fall scene. I think I did a pretty good job, but my clone stamp work could've been a little neater.
I used Photoshop to create this masking project. First, I found a picture that relates to my word, Hawaii. Then I found an image that relates to Hawaii and could be used as a background for it. To make the word stand out more, I added an outer glow and a stroke. This was an easy project and good for getting used to the tools on photoshop.
I created this animation in Adobe Fireworks. First, I took a bowling alley and extended it over 20 frames. I added a bowling ball that was animated to rotate and hit one bowling pin that moves to the right and knocks down the the other pin. I also animated the text "spare" to match the setting.I enjoyed working with this program and think my animation turned out well. If I were to change anything, I might add more frames in the future to make it a little more realistic.
