This is my turkey trot logo; I used Adobe Fireworks to create my logo. I used different text tools such as, outer glow and stroke, to make my text stand out from the rest of my logo. In addition, I used the tracing tool in Fireworks in order to give my turkey image a cleaner look. I choose a unique looking turkey to set it apart from the other logos. I thought he was cute and not the everyday chubby turkey that pops into your mind when you think about a turkey. I used red and black in my text to represent our school colors. Underneath I added the turkey prints to separate the title from the picture.

Here is my hue and saturation project, this was one of my favorite projects by far. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the colorful duckling image. Over all this was a fairly basic project; I created four different layers. After, I made each layer a different overall bright color. I enjoyed how creative you could be with this project; no one had the same idea, making them all unique. I choose to use a picture of ducklings because; they are one of my favorite animals. I used the bright colors because the picture reminded me of summer. Over all I love this project and wouldn’t change a thing!

Here I have my layers project; this was a very detailed project to create. I took a picture from the web and made it my own. Once I had my picture, I made the original black and white. After that, I added color of my own to the picture, making it one of a kind. The reason I choose this picture is because I love flower, especially dahlias. I also found the position of the dahlia to be unique.

This project on the right here is my picture clean up. I used Adobe Photoshop to create this piece of work. This was an interesting project to complete; our first step of the process was to find a picture that I thought needed to be made just a little better. Originally this picture was plain with just the: sand, water, mountains, and sky. What I added to this picture was: a brighter sky, color to the sand, the sun, Mickey Mouse and his surf board, the beach ball, and the towel. I felt that these extra components made the picture look more bright and exciting than the original. Now it looks like a fun summer day at the beach!

This is my masking project; originally I found the picture to be awesome! It is so beautiful and unique. Another thing that stood out to me was the way the water was appearing; You can see a few ripples but as you get closer to the front of the picture it begins to become smooth reflecting the sun and moon like a mirror. The element that i added to this picture is the sunset text. I applied a light blue outer glow to it because it gave the bright word a soft edge to blend with the rest of the picture. For the inside of the work sunset I inserted a picture of an actual sunset. The reason I inserted the bright oranges and reds, was because I wanted the text to contrast with the picture. It has similar elements as the picture but just a bright more vivid sunset image.
