My Projects...
Picture cleanup
For this project I used Adobe Fireworks to create my t-shirt. I also used Adobe Photoshop to do the colors, put text, and choose the layout I wanted. I learned how to transfer pictures from another document, how to change the color of my turkey, and how to use other tools in both Fireworks and Photoshop. I thought I did well on the t-shirt, but next time maybe I will make my t-shirt projects seem more exciting.
This is my layers project. I used Photoshop to make the original picture black and white, then I used the brush tool to put the colors over their clothes. We had to have six different layers for each colored in spot. To make it look more realistic, I had to use the opacity tool. This makes the colors fade, or more solid.
This is my hue and saturation project. What I had to do with this was similar to what I did with my layers. First, in Photoshop, I had to make the photo black and white, then go to my image menu to select "Adjustments" for Hue and Saturation. I learned how to use the hue and saturation tool (and what it meant) and how to adjust the colors.
My masking project was pretty easy and fun because I got to choose what photo I wanted and put what I wanted on it. The word "BAZINGA" is at an angle because I used the warp tool in Photoshop. I put an outer glow around the word to make it stand out and also a yellow outline. For this assignment I learned how to put a backgroud in my text.
What I had to do for this project was to find a picture with a gloomy sky, and things like that and make it look better. The sky was cloudy and then I used the stamp tool in Photoshop to copy the image of a blue sky and color it in the picture. for the icebergs I used the stamp tool to copy an image of ice and color in the icebergs. Same for the water. I'm not proud of this picture because I know I could have done better with it or chosen a better picture to clean up.
